It’s hard to resist the cuteness of a pet. They also seem to be naturals when it’s about making us laugh. There’s no arguing that pets are amusing, and we find ourselves laughing at them on a daily basis. But do our pets really mean it? I mean, do pets do things on purpose to make us laugh and happy? Or is it more possible that humorous pets don’t even know that their activities make us laugh and smile?
It’s not a big deal to assume that animals have a sense of humour, given that they all have individual personalities. They sure have a different approach towards comedy than humans, but we know that they find amusement in doing many things. When it comes to making their owners happy, dogs for example are recognized for their willingness to go the extra mile. If something they do makes you happy or chuckle, they’re aware of the humour they’re providing and will want to do it again.
It may also be that in several situations, all the entertaining and funny things our pets do is not intentional. Perhaps because they aren’t trying to be funny at all, but rather find themselves in conditions that make us chuckle. The manner in which animals react to a variety of things and situations may seem funny to us, but for them, it may be natural. There are a lot of amusing pets out there who may not even know they’re being funny, and in fact, that’s what makes them so charming to us.
